The following rules will apply in the event that there is a tie for points for the Overall Series:
1. These rules only apply for the top 5 in the A group, the top 4 in the B group, and the top 3 in the C group. All other point ties will remain a tie.
2. In the event of a point tie, the rider with the most number of wins (1st place finishes) for the category, throughout the entire series, will be awarded the higher place.
3. If Rule #2 does not break a overall series point tie, then the rider with the highest number of point-earning finishes for the category throughout the series will be awarded the higher place.
4. If Rules #2&3 do not break an overall series point tie, then the rider with the most number of event completions for the category throughout the series will be awarded the higher place.
5. If Rules #2,3 &4 do not break an overall series point tie, then the riders will share the higher place for the category. Seriously, they were both meant to own the position and who are we to go against the forces of the universe.
