Dirt Remedy Mountain Bike Series Overview
The Dirt Remedy Mountain Bike Series is a seven week mountain bike series in Austin Texas held at City Park, technically Emma Long Metropolitan Park. Many road cyclists in Austin begin their season in January, if not the year before. Some just ride all year round. Mountain bikers enjoy healthy Spring and Fall classics, but often look for more during the summer. In a similar vein, many High School athletes look to get outdoors when classes let out for the summer. The Dirt Remedy Mountain Bike Series was created specifically for these types of athletes.
Thanks to The Dirt Remedy Series Sponsors, Vagary Events can offer this event at competitive entry fee rates, with many opportunities for discounted fees. So, get off the roads for a while and race under the trees. Come develop your technical skills, your confidence and your physical ability over our six-event series.
The Dirt Remedy Mountain Bike Series is designed to build your technical mountain biking skills over a seven-week period, May 17th – June 28th. The full motocross trail at Emma Long Metropolitan Park is 6 miles long and highly challenging, but the creators of Dirt Remedy construct weekly courses that are manageable yet challenging for every category. The full trail can test even advanced mountain bikers. Don’t worry if you occasionally need to dismount. No single race in the series will include the full motocross course. New sections are introduced each week.
Whether you are dealing with mental “road fatigue,” can’t get enough mountain bike racing, or just want to get out and challenge yourself during the summer, The Dirt Remedy Mountain Bike Series is just what the doctor ordered!
